Catalogue manager

Before a metadata record is published in the CDSP, the Department for Digitalisation reserves the right to review and validate any record via the catalogue manager role. Specific points in this context include:

• resolving conflicts (e.g. if the same dataset is submitted by different sources);
• requesting the metadata creator to correct the metadata or add additional clarifications if necessary;
• validating and assigning the 'authentic source' label where relevant;
• performing a final review before publication in the CDSP;
• assigning the role in the Meta Data Capture tool.
