Luxembourg Data Factory

A complete and coordinated data ecosystem

The Luxembourg Data Factory established by the Government aims to develop an ecosystem for data valorisation based on the provision and re-use of ready-to-use information, enabling the creation of accessible and interoperable data products and services.

Under the supervision of the Ministry for Digitalisation, including the Government Commission for Data Sovereignty and the Government IT Centre (CTIE), the Luxembourg Data Factory ensures the coordination of the Luxembourg data ecosystem and of all related efforts by the different stakeholders, including in the fields of national and international collaboration.

It draws expertise from various associated partners, such as the Luxembourg National Data Service and INCERT, and constitutes the central element of Luxembourg's value creation chain in data, in collaboration with the AI Factory and the Quantum Factory.

Unleashing the Power of Data

The Luxembourg Data Factory's objective is to support businesses, researchers and all other stakeholders by providing them with access to a comprehensive data ecosystem, including the Public Sector Data Catalogue, data sharing frameworks, standards, secure processing environments and guidance for every phase of data valorisation projects by:
